I’m Michelle Schweinsburg, a proud mom of two amazing children, Beckham and Juliette, and an avid animal lover with three rescue dogs that have found their forever home with us. My dogs came from various shelters, including the VBSPCA, Isle of Wight Animal Control, and Palm Beach County Animal Control in Florida. Our family’s favorite moments are spent outdoors, enjoying everything that Virginia Beach has to offer. Whether it’s an evening walk on Chik’s Beach or a hike through First Landing State Park, we love spending time together in nature, especially when our pups are by our side.
A Passion for Animals and Community
Animals, especially rescue dogs, have always been a huge part of my life. I’m an active advocate for rescue animals and have had the privilege of volunteering at shelters and rescue organizations up and down the East Coast. My goal is to someday open my own dog sanctuary here in Virginia Beach, where I can continue to make a difference for animals in need.
Giving back to the community is a pillar of my real estate business. I believe that each home sale is an opportunity to do something good. That’s why for every home bought or sold with me, I make a charitable contribution to local dog rescues or shelters to help cover adoption fees, medical costs, and more. It’s one of the ways I stay connected to the causes I care about most, and I’m always looking for new ways to support the animals in our community. Throughout the year, I also host fundraisers to help raise awareness and provide much-needed support for our local shelters.
Real Estate Experience
I first became a licensed Realtor in Maryland in 2006, and today I’m licensed in both Florida and Virginia. In Florida, I work closely with investors and families looking to purchase second homes or vacation rental properties, such as Airbnbs. My personal experience as a real estate investor gives me a unique perspective when helping clients navigate the market.
